I LOVE the Blogs!!!
Just saw this on dailykos.com: Dick Cheney made this big accusation against John Edwards tonight, saying:

How can you trust a man to be vice president who lies about something so petty to try to make his opponent look bad?
And now Yahoo News has picked up the story.

You say Cheney "brushed" past Edwards, and he forgot about it huh? Well guess what? Cheney thanked Edwards by NAME at that breakfast, AND sat beside him for the entire breakfast.
And from ABCNews.com: "On April 8, 2001, Cheney and Edwards shook hands when they met off-camera during a taping of NBC's 'Meet the Press,' moderator Tim Russert said Wednesday on 'Today.'"
HMMMMMMM and then again on January 8th 2003 at Elizabeth Dole's swearing in ceremony where Edwards acompanied Dole (tradition for NC senators) and Cheney did the swearing in.
And here's the best part(from ABCNews.com): Edwards speaking about having met Cheney before; " 'So, my wife Elizabeth reminded him on the stage,' Edwards said as the crowd roared.
According to Edwards' staff, Cheney replied, 'Oh, yeah.'
'She reminded him about the truth,' Edwards told the crowd, 'and come November, we're going to remind him that the American people do not want four more years of George W. Bush.' "
So thanks for your comment Rep Bud, thanks for being in denial again so we can make fun of you!
